When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you select, and your message. This goes straight to the REACH team's inbox and is used only to respond to your enquiry - for artist and artisan participation, school and group visits, press, partnerships, volunteering, or general questions.
We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in to programme updates (see below).
Where you see a sign-up for the festival schedule announcement, providing your email is entirely voluntary - it is never required to attend, participate in, or engage with the festival in any way. We send a single email when the schedule is published, and nothing else. You can ask us to remove your email at any time by writing to us.
We use two kinds of analytics to understand how people use the site and to improve it before and during the festival.
We use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells us when someone who saw or clicked one of our Facebook or Instagram posts or ads visits this site, so we can measure whether our promotion works and show Virasat information to people who have shown interest in the festival. The pixel sends details of your visit and your device to Meta, which may link them to your Meta account if you are logged in. You can control the ads you see and how Meta uses this data in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
We use these tools to understand the audience as a whole. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use these tools to collect your name, email address or payment details.
Virasat 2026 (23 October to 6 November, Himalayan Cultural Centre, Dehradun) is a ticketed festival. Tickets are booked through the booking page on this site (reachvirasat.org/tickets), which is operated by our ticketing partner, tktplz. Your name, contact details and payment information for a booking are collected and processed by them, under their own terms and privacy policy, and not stored on this site.
Please buy tickets only through reachvirasat.org or our named official partners. If you are asked to pay for a Virasat ticket anywhere else, please contact us before paying.
Donations to REACH are processed by our payment provider, PayU. Your card or bank details go directly to them and are not seen or stored by us. We keep a record of the donation and the details you provide so we can issue a receipt.
